Yes, we can find Brook trout in Arequipa's high Andes, probably the only spot in Perú for this beautiful specie… It is a long trip but it could be SATISFIYING…
Day 1
At midday leave Arequipa city towards Chuquibamba village; paved road, 4:30 hrs trip, on te way we pass Majes valley. 16:30 hs. arrive in Chuquibamba, Alt. 2,600m / 8,500Ft. Dinner & overnight in a basic inn.
Day 2
05:00 Leave towards Arma river, 1:30 hrs. trip. The landscape is exiting. Weith a big snowed volcano “COROPUNA”
This is a small river and very beautiful. We wil Fish for brook trout from 07:00 to 15:00 Hrs only from the river bank "Fish and release" (Also you can find Rainbows..) small or medium size.
Fly Fishing or spinning, spectacular adventure in the Andes of Arequipa At: 4,300m / 14,000 Ft.
Breakfast & picnic lunch.
After 15:00 Hrs. return down to Majes Valley to sleep (3,300 ft / 1,000 m.) 2:30 hrs. trip. In Majes there are better hostals.

09:00 Hrs. return to Arequipa Arrive 12:00 Hrs.
* If you wish we can enjoy a lunch based in the delicious river shrimps with a "Pisco", both typical from this valley.
